Sean Lynch as our new Director, Custodial Services effective August 2, 2022. Sean has been with UBC since 2016, starting as a supervisor in Student Housing & Community Services and then joining Facilities’ Custodial Services department in 2017.
Sean has excelled in various supervisory and management roles of increasing responsibility, including Custodial Operations Manager and most recently Acting Director. He played a key role in adapting cleaning service levels in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and has been instrumental in the implementation of operational improvement initiatives, including the use of the Cleaning System platform to effectively allocate resources and manage service levels. Sean also brings a demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and is actively pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration. During his free time, he enjoys travelling, playing guitar, running and cycling.
